The Secret of the Shiledars Web Series Review: Touching on the historical background, some web series have come out in the past. 'The Secret of the Shiledars' greeted the audience like that. This series is based on the Marathi novel 'Pratipashchandra' written by Dr. Raviprakash Koyade. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this series has been streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar since yesterday. Let's see how this series is, in which Rajiv .. Sai Tamhankar .. Ashish Vidyardhi play the main roles.

The Secrets of the Shiledars Web Series Story

This story starts in 1996 .. and continues in the present time. Ravi Bhatt (Rajiv) lost his parents in a car accident when he was young. He survives and is taken in by a family. Since he grew up listening to stories about Shivaji's childhood, he has a great sense of respect for Shivaji. One day, Justice Krishna Dixit meets him, and his life takes a sudden turn.

Some bystanders keep an eye on Justice Krishna Dixit's movements. Even in such circumstances, he hands over a book to Ravi Bhatt. When Shivaji Maharaj later wanted Aurangzeb to take possession of the treasure belonging to him, Krishna Dixit tells him that some Maratha heroes hid the treasure somewhere. Since then, their descendants have been protecting the treasure. They are called Seeledars.

Krishna Dixit tells him that Ravi Bhatt also belongs to the Seeledar family. He says that his grandfather.. father lost his life trying to protect the treasure. He says that he is entrusting him with the responsibility of protecting the treasure from now on. Where is the treasure? How will Ravi Bhatt find its trace? Who is trying to steal the treasure? This story runs with interesting twists.

The Secret of the Shiledars Movie Analysis

Naturally, the subject of 'treasure' arouses interest in everyone. The secrets of the treasure .. the difficulties in finding it .. the dangers in achieving it are thrilling. Therefore, the audience shows more interest in watching stories related to the treasure. However, since this is a story revolving around the treasure of Shivaji Maharaj, this story starts by creating more curiosity.

This series has been made into 6 episodes. The first 3 episodes continue with the attempts to find out where the treasure is. The remaining 3 episodes run with scenes of confrontation with selfish forces trying to get the treasure. A strong story that seems close to naturalness .. grandeur .. unique sets can be said to be the main attraction of this series.

In these types of stories, the way the hero discovers the secret of the treasure is what increases everyone's interest. In this series too, it seems good that the hero understands some signs and moves forward. However, it is a bit disappointing that the hero keeps discovering the secrets. Also, the objects from ancient times look a bit artificial. The scenes in the background of the Badami caves seem interesting.

Actors Performance

This series continues with Rajiv as the protagonist. Along with him, everyone else has done well. Ashish Vidyardhi does characters like Pratap Chandra well. But it seems the character has not been designed to the expected level. If we look at the structure, this series gets good marks. The story seems to have a suitable seriousness.

Except for one special feature, the treasure from the era of Shivaji Maharaj, there is no novelty in this story. The treasure follows the same stories that came before. It would have been better if the director had handled this matter. Bijesh Jayarajan's screenplay does not seem that effective. The story moves forward without any twists except at the end. The photography .. background music .. editing seem to be drunk with the story.

Conclusion

There is no need to bend this series in terms of seriousness. The chosen line is also intriguing. However, it seems that more effort should have been put into designing the respective characters .. in driving the story.
